Today we are officially launching Double Prizes! While new websites launch every day on the web, its not every day that we get to launch one. So we’re pretty excited. We love creating websites and we hope you’ll enjoy this one!

Double Prizes is a pretty simple web site. Its a place where you can find contests and giveaways being offered by bloggers all over the web. If you like to learn about new blogs and enter contests, we can help.  If you’re a blogger running a contest and would like to generate some new interest and participation in your contest, you can add your contest to Double Prizes. And we offer this simple service for free.

Our First Ever Giveaway: $200 Target Gift Card

DoublePrizes.com is giving away a $200 gift card from Target for some holiday shopping for you or your family. (Woohoo!) The contest begins today October 6, 2009 and will end October 27, 2009 11:59 pm PST. The grand prize winner will be notified the next day through email and will have 24 hours to respond or a new winner will be chosen. The winner will be chosen randomly and will need to follow the give away rules below.

Giveaway Rules

Contest is open to US and Canada residents 13 years and older.

Each comment is counted as one entry to the contest. Some entry types count as multiple entries so enter them separately. For example, if you tweet about Double Prizes, which counts as three entries, you will need to enter a comment three times (”Tweeted about Double Prizes”).

Required Entry

Go to DoublePrizes.com and subscribe to our email newsletter (blue box on the right sidebar) then come back here and add your comment: “Subscribed to the DP Newsletter”. That’s it! And good luck!

Extra entries give you better chances of winning the grand prize. The following extra entries can count as multiple entries. Click on the links for easy access.

A Donation to Kiva.org

We are going to start a tradition here on DoublePrizes.com: Every giveaway we have on our blog will initiate a donation on Kiva.org. We have seen great success there and want to support this great effort. No donations are needed from our readers. It’s just something we want to do here.

    Here’s my “give us your feedback about DoublePrizes.com.” comment (and entry – don’t forget that).

    Love the site. I’m easily suckered into giveaways, obviously. This is a great concept, very nice work.

    On to the feedback. First item: This particular giveaway was a little confusing, I’m not positive I complied to all the rules correctly. Second: Is there a link to the DP blog on the homepage? If so I couldn’t find it when I was trying to come back to enter in this giveaway. Third: I really like how clean the interface is and subtle yet noticeable the advertisements are. I hate, actually HATE blogs who’s ads are so in your face you can’t maneuver you’re way around their site.

    And, that’s all. Great service from two great guys!

    What I really like is how easy it is to submit a giveaway. One of my favorite aspects is that the giveaway is posted as soon as I submit it. One thing I’d like to see added in the future is pictures for each giveaway.

    my feedback is use a program that keeps your info in the name, mail and website field – it’s alot to have to type it over and over when entering a contest like this!! Also – you logo, with the lady sitting in the chair is used quite a bit – in fact everytime I look at it I automatically think of another site. Great idea – love the concept and it’s looking great so far!!

    I love the white background and bright colors! I also like that I was able to update one of my contests that was listed incorrectly. Very cool. I don’t like entering my information in every time I want to reply. I also agree with another comment that this particular image (woman in the chair) is used a LOT in the blogosphere and you might want to reconsider to have your own unique look. Overall, nice job!

    I like that you can view contest by the end date.

    I don’t like that it seems to have a lot of doubles or repeats in the list of giveaways, or that some of the information is wrong like the end dates.

    My only comment/suggestion on this site is that it would be nice if while looking through the list to find giveaways to enter, it had the name of the blog doing the giveaway right there so that I did not have to click through it to see who was doing the giveaway.
